Do you have to have experience to take part in one of your treks?
No. You can ride on all of our treks as a beginner however we do advise that children under 10 years are more suited to a Moke Lake trek if they do not have experience.

Do you provide clothing and equipment?
We have half chaps, gloves, saddlebags, wet weather gear and helmets available, but if you wish to bring your own that’s fine.

What is the minimum age?
4 years. We advise the Moke Lake Trek for the younger children. We have some ponies which are ideal for this.

Can you bring large items (such as large camera or video equipment)?
This is not ideal as it may be awkward for you if you wish to pick up the pace on the trek. If you have a backpack this may make it a little easier but please ask at the time of booking if you are unsure.

What facilities are available at Ben Lomond Station?
We have parking and toilet facilities available and a place to store items if you do not wish to take them on the trek. We do not have a café or other canteen facilities so it is advised to eat before you arrive and bring some small snacks with you.

Yes. You need to book this at least 48 hours in advance so that we can ensure we have a trek guide free but this will not be a problem. It is usally a minimum of 2 people for private treks. please contact us for more detailed information.
